Concept

In a world where the "Golden Age" of magic is a fading memory, you play as Viktor, a young adventurer trained by the blacksmith Reinhardt. After losing his parents to a monster raid, Viktor has spent eight years honing his skills and cataloging the strengths and weaknesses of the world's beasts.

When a routine contract regarding missing explorers at an excavation site turns into chaos, Viktor is forced to rely on every trick in his arsenal. In the depths of the site, he faces a threat greater than any monster: the Grimoire Demon, a malevolent spirit now sealed within his soul.

Trapped in brutal battles and pushed to the brink, you must master your equipment and knowledge to survive. Viktor’s goal is not just to defeat his enemies, but to master the curse before it consumes him.

Key Features

Milestone-based System, combat yields NO Experience Points. Level Up occurs exclusively through completing Quests or advancing the Main Story acts. Since levels are locked behind Quests, equipment becomes the primary vector for power. Your Armor and Accessories choice will determine passive Negations and Resistances, which are the deciding factor in boss encounters.

The Speed stat governs tactical ATB combat. There are no fixed team turns; high Speed grants you higher action frequency, allowing you to attack multiple times before enemies can react. Every monster has specific elemental resistances and weaknesses. The player must identify and exploit them.

Every enemy possesses specific strengths, weaknesses, and resistances. Brute force is not enough. You must analyze your foes and use the correct elements, skills, and items to exploit their vulnerabilities.

Survival depends on resource management. You can only heal your wounds at specific resting points, such as Bonfires and Inns. You must carefully manage your equipment to modify your stats and adapt to the challenges ahead.
